Croatia Sitting Pretty

In case you missed it, here are the highlights from Thursday's Euro 2012 Group C match between Italy and Croatia in Poznan, Poland.

The score
Andrea Pirlo opened the scoring with an exquisite free kick in the first half, and Croatia tied it up through Mario Mandzukic in the second as the match ended 1-1.
What this result means
The draw will now leave Italy with the task of having to win their final match against Ireland, and hope Croatia is easily beaten by Spain on Monday. Another group match needs to be played in Gdansk before final calculations can be done, but Croatia are now firmly in the driver's seat to grab a spot in the quarter-finals.
