Czechs Rebound

In case you missed it, here are the highlights from Tuesday's Euro 2012 Group A match between Greece and Czech Republic in Wroclaw, Poland.

The score
Two quick goals by Petr Jirecek and Vaclav Pilar six minutes into the match were the difference. Substitute Theofanis Gekas scored the lone consolation goal for the Greeks as it ended 2-1.
What this result means
The loss now leaves the Greeks doing mathematical calculations to figure out their chances of making the knockout round. A win is a must in their final group match against Russia on Saturday if they are to have any hope. The Czechs secured the crucial victory in the opening minutes and have everything to play for against the Poles in four days.
