That Was Then...This Is Now....

Mario Balotelli's days at Manchester City seem likely to be done, and his relationship with Roberto Mancini looks to have met its breaking point, despite the manager's refusal to admit what is clearly evident. The attention seeking Italian striker's exploits have been well-documented, like a child, acting out to get a reaction from a parent or guardian; in this case Mancini takes on the father-like role. For all his talent, his erratic behavior and unreliability is a detriment to the team.

Mancini continues to beat the drum of Balotelli being a big part of his plans, but if that were the case, the striker wouldn't have been left to train alone in Manchester instead of being apart of the 3-1 win at Newcastle over the weekend.

After getting the hook by Mancini at the early stages of the Manchester derby due to poor form, walking-off the pitch and down the tunnel in disgust to his managers decision, Balotelli has now taken the club to court in a bid to overturn a fine of £350,000 for continued ill-disciplined. The appeal was rejected by the club, but the striker has now brought his case to a Premier League tribunal for review.

Whatever the result, Balotelli has one-foot out the door at the Etihad Stadium. Any objections? Unlikely.
